Yesterday, I wrote an article about the doer mindset. Today, I want to share what tips I use to trick me into achieving more as a thinker.

As I stated, I am more of a thinker, ending up with an enormous list of unique, untried ideas, that I eventually delete from my computer/notebook after a few months because they become either outdated or overwhelming. Who can handle that feeling of inachievement for too long before being weighted down by it? If you can please reach out to me, I want to know your secret!

The truth is, having great ideas is fantastic; it is something I love. However, not taking action on any of these ideas has been something I’ve been struggling with for a very long time, especially after starting my own business in the wellness world.

1- Finding accountability

When working a 9-to-5 job, I had a boss and a team to answer to. If I didn’t do my job, well, actually, it’s almost impossible not to do what you are asked to do in the corporate world, or you end up not having a job.

The truth is, when you lose this accountability, for one reason or another, you often lose the feeling of being obliged to do something. For a thinker, this is a slow downfall to the certain death of their business.

Thinkers often are the ones who take on entrepreneurial adventures because they envision what they can do for themselves quite well. They plan everything to the last detail and foresee what could go wrong. However, without accountability, a good plan could very much end up being nothing more than a great idea and a lot of time and money wasted for nothing in return. Too much thinking and not enough doing ends up with nothing to offer.

2- Where to find accountability

Accountability with a friend or family member who cares enough to not abandon you for too long in your mind palace is perfect. But we don’t always have the opportunity to find such a person. Not that they don’t want to, but we all have hectic lives, don’t we?

You can find accountability with a coach or a mentor. If you don’t have the money for this kind of support, be your accountability pal: use an app, set some accountability time in your agenda. You can always force…
